INTENDED USE
SV Type 5 Sterilization Steam Chemical Integrator is designed to be used in steam sterilization processes at temperatures ranging from 121°C to 134°C. It is intended to verify that the sterilization process has reached the desired temperature and that sufficient steam has penetrated the items being sterilized. The indicator is also used to determine whether any potential sterilization failures have occurred during the process.
OPERATION CONDITIONS
SV Type 5 Sterilization Steam Chemical Integrator should be used in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions. The indicator is placed in the sterilization chamber with the items to be sterilized and subjected to the
sterilization process. The bar on the integrator will advance when it has been exposed to the required temperature and sufficient steam, indicating that the sterilization process was successful.
This product does not contain any substances that are considered hazardous and require consideration according to EC directives.
PRODUCT SPECIFICATIONS
SV Type 5 Sterilization Steam Chemical Integrator contains a sensitive chemical indicator bar. The bar will advance when it is exposed to the required temperature and sufficient steam. If bar pass the accept line, it means the sterilization process is successful. The indicator may also include a reference to compare to confirm the results.

STORAGE AND DISPOSAL
SV Type 5 Sterilization Steam Chemical Integrator should be stored in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and heat sources. It should be kept in its original packaging until ready for use. If the indicator has expired or been damaged, it should not be used, and it should be properly disposed of according to local regulations. Shelf life is 3 years.
