INTENDED USE
SV Steam sterilization autoclave tape is designed to stick package to be sterilized provide a visual indication that an item has been exposed to the required sterilization conditions, including temperature and pressure.
OPERATION CONDITIONS
The steam sterilization autoclave tape is designed to operate in the harsh conditions of steam sterilization. The tape should be applied to the surface of the item being sterilized before it is placed in the autoclave.
CHEMICAL COMPOSITION
The ink used for printing tape is water free and contains the following components at parts per million (ppm) levels.
- Triethylamine %1-5
- Normal Propanol %1-5
PRODUCT SPECIFICATIONS
SV Steam Autoclave Tape consists of a paper roll that contains a heat-sensitive chemical indicator. The indicator changes color when it is exposed to the required temperature and sufficient steam, indicating that the sterilization process was successful.

STORAGE AND DISPOSAL
SV Steam Autoclave Tape should be stored in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and heat sources. It should be kept in its original packaging until ready for use. If the indicator has expired or been damaged, it should not be used, and it should be properly disposed of according to local regulations. Shelf life is 4 years.
